About Mrs. HeadNeva Head is an Atlanta native and graduate of the renowned Booker T. Washington High School, home of the “Bulldogs.” She graduated from Fort Valley State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Education. Teaching is her passion and is the reason she has served as an educator for approximately 20 years. Presently, she teaches Business Management and Administration courses at Jonesboro High School. She is also the Work-Based Learning Coordinator,Chick-fil-A Leader Academy Facilitator, National Technical Honor Society and a FBLA Adviser.
Prior to entering the educational arena, she worked in a management capacity with the Department of Treasury – Internal Revenue Service, where she spent 13 years. During her leisure, she enjoys inspirational reading, movies, and spending time with her family. Her place of residence is in Fayette County with her husband and four beautiful children, Heather, Amber, Myles and Meagan. Her overall goal as an instructor has been to equip students with outstanding skills to live and compete successfully in a global society. |
